Getting started and language

Open Rules & Controls in settings. Hidden pieces move using their original square’s temporary movement and reveal on landing; their true color then determines control. Capture the king to complete a challenge. Change language through Main menu → Settings → Language, or choose System default.

Purchases and access

Real purchases are not yet available. Once offered, open full access in Settings to restore eligible purchases with the same original-store account or manage a subscription. Apple and Google Play purchases are separate. Uninstalling or buying lifetime access does not cancel an annual subscription. Ask the original store for refunds.

Regular play and six original trials are free. Each chapter’s first three curated challenges are free on Mac and require a rewarded video per entry on free mobile. Undo and inspection share three uses per game; free mobile needs a completed video for each use, while Mac requires full access. Full access unlocks all challenges and direct assists. An unfinished video spends no assist. A failed request retries once before offering full access.

Save, share and progress

The end-of-game screen saves images or clips directly to Downloads on Mac or Photos/gallery on mobile. Clips show only the last action by each side and are limited to 2 MB. Allow media additions when prompted. Share opens the system share sheet.

Preferences and completed challenges are local. Clearing app data can remove progress. Unfinished games cannot resume after exit. There is no Chess account, developer-provided cloud sync or transfer of purchases between stores.
